…to the website for the Youth Section at Leamington Rugby Club.
It will come as no surprise for me to tell you at the outset that there is no
sport like rugby union as no other activity requires a mix of so many physical,
mental and social skills; and that all kids should be taught to play the game.
But it is true!
The environment at Moorefields, the home of Leamington Rugby Club, is focused
on developing individual long term athletic skills in a team environment, on
learning to play hard but fair, on winning whilst having to accept losing with
good grace, on developing friendships that will last a lifetime, and on having
fun.
Our website aims to reflect these basic principles.
We’re incredibly proud of receiving the prestigious "Seal of Approval" which
recognises our high standards of coaching, organisation and child welfare and
our website gives details of all the necessary serious content that is so
critical to providing the healthy and safe environment for our players.
And essentially this site is about RUGBY; offering the latest information about
results, fixtures and events; and then there is the fun stuff that will help
with our overall objective of making this website the “1st for Rugby in
Leamington”.
