At the Leamington RFC AGM held on 22nd June 2011 it was confirmed that several members of the existing Youth Section Committee would be stepping down after providing over 6 excellent years of service to the club. These include Tony Bobath, Malcolm Doody, Andrew Jamieson and Gary Ackers. A massive thanks must go to all of them for taking the club to where it is and we're delighted all will be playing an ongoing role in the club for the future.
It was subsequently confirmed that Roger Crockford is to take on the challenge of Youth Section Chairman. Roger is a former first team player and a passionate believer in rugby building friendships for life. This starts at the earliest of ages and Roger is delighted and honoured to take on the Chairman role. Helen Jolly was elected as Youth Club secretary and Tasha Yurkwich-Ell as Mini Club Chairwoman.
Roger would like to thank everyone involved in the Youth section committee work to date and is very keen to build a team of new people and new ideas so encourages all to step forward to play a role in the club.
