Here Come The Girls!
Since September Leamington Rugby Club have been working hard to get girls rugby off the ground. Finally, the hard work and dedication of coaches Natasha Yurkwich-Ell, Jonathan Williams, Chris Phillips-Grant, Marie O”rileyand Jason Anslow have paid off as they now have a squad of 18 players. The squad has a broad age range - 7 up to 16, with the emphasis on fitness, fun and friendship....without a brute of a boy about!!
The team is keen to recruit even more players and can guarantee a warm welcome and an exciting time. Ladies rugby places even more emphasis on skills, running and attacking rugby, which makes it an exciting sport to watch.
Training takes place on Monday evening at Leamington RUFC Moorefields Kenilworth Road Leamington spa 6pm to 7pm
