Code of Conduct – Parents/Guardians

Encourage your child to learn the rules and play within them. Discourage unfair play and arguing with officials.

Publicly accept officials’ judgements.

Never force your child to take part in sport. Help your child to recognise good performance, not just results.

Set a good example by recognising fair play and applauding the good performances of all.

Never punish or belittle a child for losing or making mistakes.

Support your child’s involvement and help them to enjoy their sport.

Use correct and proper language at all times; no swearing. Ensure any injury pre-training/match is reported immediately to the coach.

Ensure that your child is suitably dressed for the weather conditions.

NEVER enter the playing area at any time – unless specifically invited to do so by a coach/referee/manager

IMPORTANT: Parents / Guardians remain responsible for their children whilst at training / matches, and should accompany the player at these times - especially children in the Minis section.
