£550 handed over to Myton Hospice

The U15s age group managed to raise enough money last season to cover costs for their rugby tour to Jersey and donate £550 to Myton Hospice. This was achieved through raffles, a sponsored night walk and bag packing at Sainsbury's and M&S. The team choose to donate a proportion of their fund raising each year to a local charity and Myton was particularly fitting as Anne Mckowen, a close friend and long time supporter of the age group, was cared for after a long illness and it was where she passed away on 9 January 2009.
